About the presentation:
Adobe's Creative Suite 2 is more than just "a bunch of software in one box." With fantastic new features in all the Creative Suite products, it's a compelling arsenal for graphic designers. See the newest versions of Adobe's powerful graphics products: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Acrobat are cooler than ever! And bring your questions; it's a great opportunity to get answers!

A note from your AIGA Houston President: We’re very excited to have Claudia come to Houston. She has spoken to numerous AIGA chapters across the country and is a frequent speaker at industry conferences. Our fellow AIGA chapters tell us that if you want to really see what InDesign can do for your everyday challenges, you gotta see Claudia because she’s the best!

About the presenter:
Claudia McCue has channeled more than 20 years of traditional and digital prepress production experience into her current incarnation as a consultant, trainer and author for the graphic arts industry. She is a frequent speaker at industry conferences, and an Adobe Certified Instructor for Photoshop, Acrobat, and InDesign.

Claudia’s company, Atlanta-based Practicalia, LLC, specializes in consulting and custom onsite training for a national client base that includes MTV Networks, SAS Institute Inc., The College Board, Lowe’s Home Improvement, Quad/Graphics and Quebecor World.

Her book “Real World Print Production” will be published by Peachpit Press in early 2006.

Thanks to our sponsors:
A very special thanks to Adobe and Connect Learning, without whom, this event would not be possible.

Adobe Systems, the Official AIGA Design Solutions Partner
At Adobe Systems, we believe in the communicative power of design. Over the past decade Adobe has been an active participant in the design community, listening closely to designers’ needs and building integrated solutions that are used daily. It’s what designers accomplish with those tools that continually astounds and inspires us. We value the potential of design to influence, to educate, to motivate, to engage — and even to act as an agent for social change. These are some of the reasons why Adobe is the official AIGA Technology Sponsor. At both national and regional levels, Adobe is working with the AIGA to create innovative programs that give members a voice, nurture young designers, and actively engage the creative community in dialogues about the important issues in the field of design and technology.
