KPFT is a 100,000-watt, listener sponsored community radio station serving greater Houston and the Texas gulf
coast. The station is one of five in the national Pacifica network. KPFT accepts no advertisements or commercial sponsorship. As
a result, KPFT relies almost entirely on contributions from its listeners to stay on the air.
The purpose of the AIGA is to further excellence in communication design as a broadly defined discipline,
strategic tool for business, and cultural force. The AIGA is the place design professionals turn to first to exchange ideas and
information, participate in critical analysis, and research and advance education and ethical practice. |
