Call For Committee Members

Call for Committee Members:

AIGA Houston board needs your help. We are in the developmental stage for both our
Great Creative Race on Saturday October 9, 2010 & our Art Festival/Member Drive Sunday November 7, 2010 at the Heights Theater. We are looking for members to help plan out all the details for both events, from artwork to sponsors, curators, bloggers, street teams to advertise, and most importantly, creative collaboration!

The Great CREATIVE Race is based on your knowledge of the Houston creative scene and a urban adventure like no other. Teams of two solve twelve clues leading them to complete innovative challenges while discovering the cities creative pulse. Award ceremony and social to follow.

Art Festival/Member Drive

An Art festival filled with designs, painting, and more, all from the hands of our community. Bands will play, workshops will commence, the possibilities are endless. We need help developing the whole scope of the days events. Nothing is impossible if you have a team to help!

Requirements for committee members:

You must be a current member or AIGA Houston to participate in the collaborative planning. We are looking for you to dedicated 5-10 hours monthly for committee meetings and completion of tasks. We are also asking for your participation on the day of the event. Each committee position will be resposible for their assigned task they volunteer for the day of assignments. This will be a collaborative committee were everyone's suggestions will be discussed.
