"Design Champions"

AMA Houston MarketingEDGE Luncheon Keynote Speaker - David Miller, is Partner, and Director of Strategy at Stoke – a Seattle based brand management and design consultancy.

We are now entering The Next Economy, an era that presents both profound challenges and extraordinary opportunities to every organization. While the challenge to develop of clear market position has never been more significant, the value of doing so has never been greater.  In this summary of his work in Experience Design, Stoke partner and strategist David Miller will address the underlying forces shaping market strategy in the coming years, including Big "D" Design:

As consumers reach the saturation point of choices, a barrage of messages, and become totally stressed for time – "Design" has become a strategic differentiator, helping consumers make better, faster decisions.

By re-framing the meaning of "Design" (with a Big "D"), participants will understand how the discipline has moved from primary, aesthetic considerations, to an organizing principle around which organizations can deliver remarkably valuable experiences to customers.

This presentation will include practical case studies from healthcare, energy, consumer products and professional services – with assessment techniques that participants can apply to their work immediately.

AIGA Houston can register for this luncheon with special partner pricing at this registration page.
