Tony Di Spigna is a graduate of New York city Community College and Pratt Institute in New York. Tony was a partner in the legendary studio of Lubalin Associates where he worked on all aspects of visual communication and graphic design. He has achieved international recognition for his letterform and typographic designs including exclusive newly designed corporate typefaces and logos. He has lectured widely in the U.S. and abroad. He has won numerous awards and his work has been widely exhibited in the United States and abroad as well. In 2007, he was honored with a one man show in Italy. He has taught at the School of Visual arts and is currently teaching at The New York Institute of Technology in the Undergraduate fine Arts Department and is a tenured professor in the Graduate Design Program at Pratt Institute where he was given the institute-wide Distinguished Professor Award.
